I'm Clare, the printmaker behind shapes + colours. I use lino cutting tools to create small stamps to print modular artworks. Every print in the shop is unique. I run occasional workshops, see below for details.

Spend a relaxed evening at Poets Wine Bar creating beautiful greetings cards and postcards with hand-carved printing stamps. This workshop will include autumnal themed prints to let us step gently into the next season.

About

I'm a printmaker based in West London, making art from small hand-carved rubber stamps. I carve each stamp myself and use them to build up images, patterns and little worlds, often with quite a simple, graphic feel. My themes change depending on what I'm interested in at the time.

I mostly work in black and white, but l've recently been experimenting more with colour and seeing where that takes me. Outside of making prints, l'm kept busy with my two young kids, so my practice tends to fit around family life - whenever I can grab a bit of time to make something, I do.
